Job Responsibilities:
Marketing / Business Development Coordinator
In support of our Marketing Manager and Managing Director of Design, the desired candidate assists with proposal preparation, presentations, award submissions. This position would also support the group in the development of new business leads, including researching industries, uncovering current client and prospect interests, needs and critical success factors. The coordinator will collaborate with Architects, Engineers, and other technical personnel to obtain an in-depth understanding of the services we provide in order to write clear and concise service descriptions for Proposals and Qualification Packages. This function should also strive to Improve and refine proposal content to address potential client needs.
Secondary tasks may include researching and reporting on industry/market trends to aid in the coordination and implementation of the Firm’s business development strategy in conjunction with the Managing Directors/Directors. To this end, assistance in identifying and evaluating event opportunities consistent with the Firm’s strategic plans to get in front of clients and prospects would go in conjunction with research efforts.
This position would also potentially maintain the Firm's OneNote library with company literature. This would include composing and assembling information including, but not limited to, project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, technical solutions. In addition, the coordinator would help create and disseminate external Press Releases and internal communications including the GF Gazette, the Firm's newsletter, and any other Firm-wide announcements plus update the Firm’s social media pages including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn as necessary.

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience within the Architecture / Engineering industry highly desired but not required.
• Knowledge of appropriate marketing and business development methods, processes, and tools
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Creative Suite, including SharePoint, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Good team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
• Quickly grasp, translate, and communicate complex technical concepts.
