Development Services Client Manager

Job Responsibilities:
The Client Manager serves as primary point of contact for project - develops and maintains excellent relationship with clients. The Client Manager coordinates the project schedule and the "real estate deal" aspects of projects all the way to Construction Administration, manages geotechnical, environmental, traffic and civil consultants, and is responsible for site assessment investigations, jurisdictional wetlands approvals and site acquisition, site planning, municipal and zoning approval, due diligence, relationship with client real estate managers and client representation in zoning and variance hearings before planning boards. The Client Manager acts with professional integrity and displays ethical behavior in dealings with client, consultants and government entities and exhibits innovation and creativity in dealing with issues that arise with clients, consultants, and GreenbergFarrow team members. The Client Manager is responsible for managing projects within budget and/or contract terms to insure financial success of individual projects, department, office and Company and may be responsible for preliminary design and presentation drawings on assigned projects. The Client Manager is responsible for assisting GF in new client development endeavors by representing GreenbergFarrow in a positive manner and seeking out opportunities to sell GreenbergFarrow's services. The Client Manager is responsible for coordination of disciplines within office or Company to insure that projects are managed smoothly and within budget. The Client Manager oversees and supervises work of Due Diligence Coordinator and Site Planner. Always serving an internal and/or external client. Being accurate and timely is a must. Each transaction or task must be handled in a way that positively spreads our reputation. Keeping our word 100% of the time and working everyday to see that obligations are met which may frequently result in unscheduled overtime.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field

  • 12 years experience with at least 8 years focused on shopping centers, big box retail centers, mixed-use projects, fueling centers, restaurants, banks, roll-out programs and commercial projects

  • Licensure in is preferred but not required

  • Thorough knowledge of applicable building codes, zoning codes and approval process

  • Demonstrated experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong leadership skills – ability to manage and build teams effectively

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Highly organized, detail-driven and conscientious

  • Is attuned to other areas as it relates to total project: structural, mechanical, electrical, architectural and site requirements

  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with a working knowledge of current version of AutoCAD and Revit.
