FLSA Status: Exempt

General Summary:

The position of Marketing/Business Development Coordinator works under the supervision of the Marketing Manager and supports the group in the development of new business leads, including researching industries, uncovering current client and prospect interests, needs and critical success factors.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role has no supervisory responsibility.

Collaborates with Architects, Engineers, and other technical personnel to write clear and concise service descriptions for Proposals and Qualification Packages

Improve and refine proposal content to address potential client needs

Research and report on industry/market trends to aid in the coordination and implementation of the Firm’s business development strategy in conjunction with the Managing Directors/Directors.

Assistance in identifying and evaluating event opportunities consistent with the Firm’s strategic plans to get in front of clients and prospects

Maintain the Firm's OneNote library with company literature

Compose and assemble information including, but not limited to, project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, technical solutions

Assist with creating and disseminating external Press Releases and internal communications including the GF Gazette, the Firm's newsletter, and any other Firm-wide announcements

Update the Firm’s social media pages including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn

Job Qualifications:
Required Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of appropriate marketing and business development methods, processes, and tools

Excellent writing and editing skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Creative Suite, including SharePoint, Photoshop, and InDesign

Experience with CRM is preferred but not required

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment

Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines

Good team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude

Quickly grasp, translate, and communicate complex technical concepts

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.

Experience within the Architecture / Engineering industry highly desired but not required.
